At Curbio you will:

  • Handle the permitting process in residential home building and renovations across the US.
  • Knowledge of new/changes in standards, codes, regulations, and procedures.
  • Set up meetings with zoning and building personnel to document the design codes and process for applying for the permits.
  • Complete building permit applications, ensuring that all requirements are met to minimize incomplete applications.
  • Establish network to cities, counties, municipalities, and public works departments.
  • Facilitate communication with architects when needed.
  • Review plan sets to ensure accuracy prior to submittal to cut down on comments/corrections.
  • Help locate and onboard new architects for new markets or to replace existing networks.
  • Apply for permits, check status of permits, download, and print approved plans for permits.
  • Communicate accurate updates and forecasts with Project Managers, Regional Directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain all company files relating to site plan applications, approvals, licenses and permits.
  • Responsible for permit delivery to applicable Project Managers.
What we’re looking for:
  • Work effectively as a team member and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • 2+ years’ experience obtaining permits in multiple jurisdictions, preferable in residential construction.
