Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administrative Building
In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various locations around the island
Plant Area- Workspace is primarily in the Power Plant Area
Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area
Satellite- Workspace is at one of CUC’s satellite locations 
 
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Supervises Energy Delivery cost analysis function, providing support to Energy Supply as needed. Reviews cost variances, monitors annual and project-specific budgets, implements corrective actions to maintain budget compliance, and ensures contractor invoices are accurate. Prepares and delivers regular cost performance and forecast reports for management review.
  • Supervises the company’s vegetation management program and wildfire initiatives to ensure compliance with safety policies, targets, budgets and industry best practices.
  • Supervise the scheduling of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) construction, maintenance, and outage activities. Manage and optimize the mobile workforce management (MWFM) system for field crews. Analyze performance data from MWFM to improve productivity and work quality.
  • Implement quality control measures for vegetation work, T&D projects, and contractor deliverables. Periodic review and analysis of information from Department’s/Operation’s key systems (HTE, MWFM) and provide data analytics reports on KPIs and KRIs and other metrics to track and improve the company’s performance in quality, safety, reliability and efficiency.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of vegetation management coordinators, cost analyst, and T&D scheduler.
  • Project management for the Department’s special projects or ad hoc projects from inception, business case development, roll-out and implementation, periodic reporting and closing.
  • Other duties may be assigned from time to time.
 
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management 
  • 5 years’ experience in business process management or project management
  • Experience with utility industry (vegetation management, costing & T&D scheduling) is preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge on business processes that involves financial, operational and compliance areas preferred
  • Experience and knowledge on project management and business information systems preferred
