Salary: CI$67,561 to CI$87,829 per year (no income tax)

Overtime Eligibility: No

Work Environment: Plant Area

Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administrative Building

In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various locations around the island

Plant Area- Workspace is primarily in the Power Plant Area

Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area

Satellite- Workspace is at one of CUC’s satellite locations

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

       Application support of the new SCADA system software.

       Assist in the development and delivery of training related to the new SCADA system.

       Assist in systems integration of the new SCADA system and corporate applications.

       Responsible to work with vendors and CUC O&M to resolve systems issues.

       Responsible to resolve queries from system users and stakeholders.

       Responsible to maintain the SCADA system within performance specifications.

       Other duties as required.

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

       Bachelors degree in electrical, electronic or related engineering.  Must possess Professional Engineer designation or equivalent or be able to prove that is working towards achieving this.

       Minimum of five (5) years related engineering experience.

       Knowledge of SCADA, RTU, PLC and control systems and components used for the generation, transmission and distribution of power.

       Knowledge of data communications protocols, networking equipment and computer operating systems..
