Scholarship to Pursue A Level Studies

CUC is proud to offer a scholarship for Caymanian students seeking to pursue Advanced Level (A-Level) studies preferably at a local high school. The scholarship grant is up to CI$14,000 per year.

Requirements:

Applicants must:

            Have already obtained, or expect to obtain, during the current school year, adequate academic qualifications to be accepted into Advanced Level (A-Level) studies or equivalent;

            Be Caymanian or hold Caymanian Status;

            Be involved in school and/or volunteer activities;

            Provide references.

The scholarship will also provide an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience and develop further skills, which will benefit the successful applicant in their studies and a possible future career with CUC.

Interested applicants must read and understand CUC Scholarship General Rules and Guidelines 2025 before applying.

Applicants are required to upload all documents listed below to the application portal. Under the Additional Files section, the Add Portfolio option can be used multiple times to upload all documents.

            Completed and signed copy of CUC Scholarship General Rules and Guidelines 2025;

            Proof of being Caymanian or having Caymanian Status (Confirmation of Caymanian as of Right letter/endorsement stamp in passport);

            Recent passport-sized face photo;

            Examination certificates/results at the time of application/High School Diploma;

            Official transcript;

            Letter of acceptance/conditional acceptance;

            Supporting documents showing breakdown of estimated costs by year of study;

            Personal statement of objectives (signed);

            Personal statement of need (signed);

            One academic reference (within 12 months);

            Two character references (within 12 months);

            Job letter and/or employment reference (if applicable);

            Supporting evidence of other awarded scholarship(s) (if applicable);

Applications must be submitted via the application portal no later than March 10, 2025. Applications submitted via e-mail will not be considered. Hard copies will not be accepted.
