Department: Fleet Department

Employment Status: Fulltime

Salary: CI$4,075 to CI$5,297 or USD$4,880 to USD$6,343 per month (no income tax)

Overtime Eligibility: Yes

Work Environment: Plant Area

Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administrative Building

In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various locations around the island

Plant Area- Workspace is primarily in the Power Plant Area

Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area

Satellite- Workspace is at one of CUC’s satellite locations

 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

       Perform required maintenance and repairs by Altec Aerial Device and Vehicle Manufactures Standards.

       Perform analysis of on-board diagnostics systems for Ford, Sterling, Freightliner trucks, Caterpillar, Mercedes Benz and Cummins engines.

       Prepare job orders, signing off job orders using Fleet Management System. Timesheets and Invoices as required in HTE and Executime.

       Insuring all work are performed in accordance with CUC's EMS and Safety Policies.

       Conduct site and job inspections of fleet vehicles as required.

       Other duties as required.

 

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

       High school diploma with automotive training & Altec Aerial Devices with certifications, and/or a Community College associate degree or equivalent training or work experience.

       Minimum six years mechanical related work experience with emphasis on Altec Aerial Devices.

 

Key Competencies

       Be able to use a PC for Altec Aerial Device software programs and Ford/Sterling diagnostic programs.

       Must have valid and current CI Drivers License Group 3 or 4 or willing to obtain one.

       Possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
