The Warranty Analyst  will provide support in all areas of warranty claims for operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Partner and Collaborate with Branch Customers to provide effective solutions to complex warranty claims.
  2. Educate and Train Branch Customers about Warranty Policies and Procedures to maximize claim effectiveness.
  3. Provide data and analytics about trends in failures, claims, and policy changes.
  4. Reviews service and repair invoices for accuracy and investigates discrepancies. 
  5. Using working knowledge of equipment and repair processes, reduces operating costs by determining the most cost-effective means of service and repair. 
  6. Communicates with vendors requiring knowledge of equipment systems and preventative maintenance. 
  7. Negotiates warranties and warranty policy with vendors.
  8. Using the appropriate program guides, file warranty claims for all LiftOne Equipment Vendors to ensure maximum revenue recovery. 
  9. Manage ATB and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  10. Review e-mails and respond to questions, status of jobs and claims, review reports and responses to contact managements from Hyster and Yale.
  11. Process the Hyster pay sheets weekly, reviewing each job in regard to what they pay vs. what was filled. Communicate any variances with branch management.
  12. Assisting branches to ensure paperwork is completed correctly and working them on large claims so proper payment is received from the vendor.
  13. Manage parts returns for warranty. 
  14. Manage WIP for fleet and warranty by communicating with branches outstanding work orders that need to be processed.
  15. Monitor technician certification status for warranty work.

Education and/or Experience

Associate degree from two-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

  • Experience with Windows based programs
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • SAP

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Use of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as it relates to the function.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
