Forensic Accounting Analyst

We are seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our consulting team.  This individual will directly support our team in performing fraud investigations, calculating economic damages, performing economic analysis, financial analysis and industry research, and creating presentations and reports that are submitted to our clients.  The ideal candidate is someone interested in pursuing a career in forensic accounting who is a self-starter and critical thinker, willing to participate in all phases of consulting engagements.  The consulting analyst will work closely with our team members to produce high-quality and unique deliverables to our growing client base.      

       

Key Responsibilities:      

  • Perform fraud investigations, economic damage calculation, and other analysis related to litigation support service engagements.
  • Analyze and synthesize large quantities of data and using various data analysis tools
  • Analyze competitive industry dynamics and financial condition of subject companies
  • Evaluate business plans, adjust financial statements and build financial models
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, expert litigation service and valuation reports
  • Perform other related duties as required

       

Required Skills:      

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
  • Masters degree in preferred, but not required
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • CPA and/or CFE candidate
  • Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills; resourceful in delivering high quality work
  • Detailed oriented with ability to also see big picture
  • Strong financial statement analysis and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, time management and leadership skills
  • Flexible and adaptable team player
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and software
  • Sense of ownership over projects, and ability to proactively management engagement progress 
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, peers, and other contacts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      
Pay:      
  • $60,000-$70,0000
