About the Role

The Global SEO Strategist will support international growth by identifying search opportunities in select markets, driving online demand, and increasing CrowdStrike’s search visibility across multiple geographies. The Global SEO Strategist will perform technical audits and keyword research, write optimized website copy and develop and maintain relationships with regional marketing teams. Success in this role requires a desire to learn all things digital, a natural hunger for driving results, and expert knowledge of the best practices around technical and international SEO. 


  • Define and execute international SEO roadmap and initiatives 
  • Prioritize international markets for optimization and monitoring
  • Manage SEO content creation - including, but not limited to onsite, blog, and video
  • Research technical issues and troubleshoot site performance issues that impact SEO performance 
  • Communicate SEO best-practices to regional stakeholders and company at large in a clear and approachable way
  • Stay up-to-date with current optimization factors and algorithm changes by working closely with our internal teams and agencies
  • Monitor competitor SEO metrics (ranks, inbound links, content topics, formats, and distribution, social media exposure, on-page optimization, etc.)
  • Update and run monthly reporting across multiple international web properties for all tactical aspects of SEO from keyword analysis to technical audits and content creation 

What You’ll Need 

  • 5-7 years B2B marketing experience with proven experience in SEO
  • Solid understanding of international SEO and demonstrated experience developing SEO strategies for different regions and languages
  • Ability to confidently navigate and interpret data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
  • Hands-on experience with leading SEO tools, including Semrush, web crawlers (e.g. Screaming Frog or Sitebulb), Ahrefs
  • Experience making recommendations for, and tackling issues regarding, canonicalization, pagination, redirects, sitemaps, crawl budget
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to interlock with regional marketing teams
  • Continuously evolving knowledge of algorithm and SERP updates, as well as SEO trends and best practices
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to handle competing and/or tight deadlines
  • Knowledge with Content/Web Management Systems, specifically in Wordpress
  • Demonstrated ability to make a case for SEO projects by framing technical concepts in a manner that non-SEOs can easily digest

  • UX research, testing, and optimization experience 
  • Knowledge using mark-up languages like HTML to create user-friendly webpages
