As a Sales Engineering Intern, you will have a unique opportunity to move beyond the classroom and into the cutting-edge world of cybersecurity. This program is designed to expand a candidate’s skill set to encompass several important focus areas, yet remains flexible enough to allow individuals to spend more time on any area that works for them and is a good fit.

Our goal for the program is to equip qualified students with the competency and knowledge they need to transition into a career as a cybersecurity Technical Sales Engineer. A position with CrowdStrike will expose you to a wide variety of activities including proof of concepts, solution designs, hands-on cyber defense, managing incidents, and exposure to all parts of the customer journey with CrowdStrike.

The CrowdStrike Engineering Internship Program is a 1 yearlong placement internship that provides individuals with experience across all major aspects of the CrowdStrike Sales Engineering business. After completing this program, candidates will have experience in the following areas:

  • Infrastructure
  • Networking Fundamentals
  • Operating Systems
  • CrowdStrike Tooling
  • Falcon Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP)
  • Windows, Mac, Linux Forensics
  • Project Management and Reporting
  • Client Communication and Management Requirements
Job Requirements 
  • Working towards a Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
  • Technical understanding of incident response, computer forensics, network administration and management and endpoint security including anti-virus solutions
  • Languages: English-both spoken and written required & 1 other language highly preferred
Job Qualifications
  • Be working on a BA or BS / MA or MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Math, Information Security, Information Systems,
  • Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or other related field
  • Be a rising Junior/Senior (if pursuing an undergraduate degree)
  • Be scheduled to graduate after August 2019 & be a strong candidate with desired skills and qualities
  • Keep up with the latest vulnerabilities and breaches
  • Be self-motivated and actively seek opportunities for growth
  • A desire to rapidly accelerate their skills
  • Be able to complete technical tasks with minimal supervision
  • A desire to develop both technical and soft skills
  • Contribute to a positive work environment, and have a can-do attitude
  • Be seeking a career in cybersecurity and/or incident response
  • From a technical perspective, it is desired (but not required) that candidates be comfortable on command-line interfaces
