Corporate Processing Trainer (On-Site)

Position Overview:
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a mentor and assist in the onboarding of new hires in a processing-focused role.
- Develop and conduct training sessions related to mortgage loan processing, the implementation of new software applications, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Act as a liaison between departments to obtain information on updated processes and procedures to create/update training materials and training courses.
- Conduct both onsite and web-based trainings and travel to branches as required.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in the processing workflow.
- Develop and maintain mortgage curriculum and job aids for required use by all employees to train and reinforce mortgage processing knowledge.
- Collaborate with Learning and Development Team to create reference materials to ensure all training is delivered uniformly.
- Maintain process and procedure documentation as it pertains to the training material required for Encompass and all other related systems and integrations.
- Provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of training and individual employee results, job performance, and future learning plans.
- Coordinate training meetings and events as needed.
- Work to improve training methods and skills by introduction of new training methods.
- Improve training methods and skills; finds and incorporates improved training methods.
- Provide post-training support on questions and concerns related to the project and act as a SME on the related topic.
- Support the Training Department by providing feedback on existing content and facilitation for new hire training to improve engagement and training methodologies.
- A minimum of 5 - 7 years of mortgage industry experience required working in a loan processor role.
- Firsthand experience and vast knowledge of Encompass LOS.
- A minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in a training role preferred.
- Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and listening skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and communication skills.
- Public speaking skills and at ease moderating large groups.
- Learning agile with analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Creative ability, writing proficiency, visual graphics design ability.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and comfortable relationships with employees, supervisors, and senior management.
- Ability to articulate performance outcomes objectively for trainees and managers.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Must be available to travel to affiliate locations as necessary, including out-of-state.
