Position Overview:

The Data Analyst – Loan Servicing is responsible for data analysis and data stewardship in support of the growing Loan Servicing business.  This role will build and distribute financial reports and data sets for internal and external stakeholders.  The Data Analyst will also conduct portfolio analysis for the Servicing assets and monitor data governance, including quality, business rules, and support documentation.  This role works closely with the other data analysts, data warehousing, compliance, finance, operations, and external partners to improve insight, accessibility, trustworthiness, compliance, and collaboration across Servicing data.
 
Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain standard reporting for the portfolio.
  • Develop and monitor portfolio metrics.
  • Conduct data queries and analysis for ad hoc and exploratory financial analysis.
  • Maintain data catalog information such as data definitions, lineage, business rules, etc.
  • Work with Servicing leadership to develop visual analysis, KPIs, and financial models for executive review.
  • Respond to internal and external stakeholders who have questions and requests concerning Servicing data and reports; provide training where needed.
  • Collaborate with other data analysts and engineers in developing and maintaining best practices.
  • Work in a cross-functional team environment.
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent combination of education / experience.
  • Experience in data analysis and analytical tools (Tableau, Sigma, advanced Excel, etc.).
  • Experience with mortgage lending or banking is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
