The Head of sales IL is a senior role responsible for developing and executing the go to market strategy for all of Cronos IL brands by creating, expanding, and managing strategic business relationships with key customers, partners, and vendors in IL. The successful candidate leads and oversees the development of new business opportunities and growth initiatives, as well as identifies and capitalizes on potential new markets and products. The Head of Sales will oversee and own all sales activities in IL, and will build a data-driven, agile and process-based plan to stimulate revenue growth.

This position reports into the SVP, Head of Cronos Israel.  

This position is based out of Kibbutz Gan Shmuel.  

What you’ll be doing:

  •  Identify potential new products and develop strategies to capitalize on them
    Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and vendors
  •  Analyze customer needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
  •  Establish and maintain database to track industry trends and competitive activity; new innovations, pricing strategy, merchandising and promotions, educational initiatives etc.
  •  Define and implement the strategy and execution of all Israel Sales – revenue oriented.
  •  Build and implement formal sales processes and selling fundamentals, standardizing customer engagement. 
  •  Implement formal Territory Coverage Plans (TCP) focused on customer prioritization and routing optimizations driving cost efficiencies for Cronos
  •  Implement formal SLA and conduct regular segmentation reviews of entire account universe ensuring we maximize ROI on every sales call
  •  Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets by planning, executing, and communicating a sales strategy that drives revenue growth.
  •  Partner with Finance and Legal to develop processes and procedures related to customer on-boarding, purchase orders and invoicing as relevant to maintain customer relationships. 
  •  Develop and maintain a team of high-performance sales and service professionals through coaching, mentoring, leadership, and sales focused development training. 
  •  Accountable for sales related audits and controls. 
  •  100% accountable for revenue within Israel.

You’ll need to have: 

  •  Business degree: MBA preferred 
  •  A minimum of 8 + years prior relevant experience
  •  A proven track record of a key business development and sales role within a global and matrix company and collaborating with global and leading HQ
  •  Consumer packaged goods experience – a must
  •  Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies
  •  A go-getter, self-motivator, can-do approach to work, and a bias for action 
  •  Eager to research and create new business relationships independently 
  •  Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively while working with little supervision  
  •  Think out-of-the box and drive creative solutions 
  •  Read/analyze consumer research, market data, and syndicated data and trends  
  •  Experience with understanding/interpreting financials and in managing a budget 
  •  Passion for the consumer with creative thinking and problem-solving skills 
  •  Professional written and oral communication skills while being process orientated 
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
