The Planning Analyst will be responsible for executing the demand and inventory strategies/targets to deliver targeted customer service and inventory levels. The Planning Analyst will support the Supply Planning Manager in Capacity, CMO, and new product development plans.  

This position is based out of Stayner Ontario.   

What you’ll be doing:    

  • Coordinate CMO production and capacity planning.
  • Balance operational supply forecast with market demand, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Work with involved department to resolve any quality issues of the purchased product
  • Support the Supply Planner with planning responsibilities: scenario planning, gap analysis
  • Support in the launch of new product and product phase-out planning
  • Support scenario planning analysis based on total capacity, net requirement, inventory targets, and volume plan in case of constraints
  • Manage inventory including excess and obsolete inventory across the network.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned   

You’ll need to have:   

  • 1-3 years related experience in production, inventory management, or supply planning
  • Post-Secondary education in relevant field
  • CPIM or any supply chain certification is an asset
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using ERP/MRP software
