The Senior Brand Marketing Manager, will be responsible for implementing and localizing the global marketing and brand strategies, supporting the sales forecasting, campaign management (including local agencies and influencers), new product launches, and budgetary responsibilities. This position reports into the VP, Marketing and Innovation, North America with a dotted line to the SVP, Head of Cronos Israel.

This position is based out of Kibbutz Gan Shmuel.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own and drive marketing and innovation efforts for the Israeli market working closely with cross-functional partners in Israel, while ensuring alignment to global marketing and innovation strategies, plans, processes, and learnings
  • Collaborate with the global product and innovation teams support the strategy, planning, and execution for all Cronos Israel brands including brand and marketing strategies and execution, product pipeline and portfolio management, pricing strategy, and overall brand P&L management in line with the global strategy
  • Collaborate closely with global team to develop Israel Annual marketing plan
  • Drive the strategy and execution for all local Israel marketing efforts collaborating with internal and external partners, including but not limited to social media, educational content, web, events, influencer, PR, new launch materials, etc.
  • Lead the development and execution of all marketing and branding materials, assets, or activations working in collaboration with internal and/or external creative partners
  • Oversee all local commercialization projects in accordance with the global strategy; and and optimize the commercialization process for new product launches, managing projects from inception through launch 
  • Oversee the Israel “Pod” team (a cross-functional, product-focused project working group) to ensure all project work is efficient, teams are working properly together, information across Pod teams is transparent, and roadmaps and timelines are maintained, this includes stage gate reviews and product releases 
  • Drive data-driven decision-making by continuously generating and utilizing data for solutions.
  • Manage Israel marketing budget, optimizing return on investment and decision making on annual plan adjustments and P&L considerations 
  • Collaborate with broader cross functional teams (R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, QA, Operations, Regulatory, Legal etc.) to execute projects while managing risks and looking at opportunities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance quality and cost-efficiency, and to implement product improvements.
  • Conduct ongoing product and competitive marketing analysis to ensure consumer and market trends are informing brand & portfolio strategies. Make recommendations and action accordingly (i.e. portfolio optimization, pricing actions, innovation, quality improvement, marketing strategies/plans, etc.)
  • Evaluate and prioritize product and market opportunities using thorough market analysis and internal insights
  • Build and manage new and existing vendor and partner relationships to support marketing, innovation and brand priorities Collaborate with SVP, Israel and support the localization of all the above

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Marketing, or related subject matter, advanced degree is a plus
  • 7+ years' relevant experience; experience in consumer goods and/or Pharmaceuticals. Cannabis experience is preferred
  • Prior work experience in North America and Israel would be considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills and adept at managing multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment within global organizations
  • Prior experience in the commercialization process involving new product launches in Israel and North America
  • Self-starter and curious to explore new ways to drive the business forward
  • Ability to think creatively and drive innovative solutions
  • Skilled in analyzing consumer research, market data, and trends
  • Experience working with global companies and adept at interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions and manage budgets
  • Proven track record in product launches, commercialization, pricing, packaging, brand and innovation strategy, including ecommerce, consumer focused mindset with a willingness to provide creative problem-solving solutions to meet the needs of customers Passion for the consumer with creative thinking
  • Professional written and oral communication skills while being process orientated 
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and techniques   
  • Knowledge of distribution channels and media marketing in cannabis
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Native or strong English proficiency required
