As the Supply Chain Planner you will be responsible for analyzing supply chain data to align and balance demand forecasts with supply and inventory plans. You will monitor key performance metrics, identify trends and risks across the supply chain, and translate data into actionable and attainable supply plans and production schedules. Mainly responsible for creating and maintaining detailed production plans and schedules, ensuring accuracy of scheduling activities throughout the production facility. You will partner closely with Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and Customer Service to keep supply aligned with demand and meet all customer requirements on time and in full. The ideal candidate is energetic, collaborative, and forward- thinking. Reporting to the Master Scheduling Manager, the primary focus is ensuring the customer service target is met. 

This position is full time based out of Stayner, ON.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyze inventory, and demand trends to develop and continuously refine supply plans on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain accurate Master Production Schedule for a wide range of products and SKUs to ensure appropriate inventory levels on semi-finished and finished goods.
  • Create, issue and manage work orders for production and final packaging as assigned daily.
  • Monitor shop floor status to align schedules appropriately.
  • Understand production floor capabilities, material flow and impact of production plan changes to the broader operational organization.
  • Monitor department KPIs for work order issuance, planning accuracy and On-Time In-Full order status, including building recurring reports and dashboards.
  • Investigate supply chain variances, stockouts, and disruptions, and recommend data-driven corrective actions.
  • Understand inventory positions and allocation constraints based on customer requirements and internal planning
  • Coordinate material transitions for new products, including determining initial safety stocks and production plans for launches; communicate plans and needs with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with Material Planning, Quality, Customer Service, Trade Marketing, Sales, Demand planning to understand market demands, regulatory impacts, new products.
  • Support manager with capacity planning and risk analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement and ERP/planning system enhancements.
  • Support implementation of Material Resource Planning function in SAP.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, planning, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas); experience with Power BI or Tableau is an asset.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or similar certification is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting findings to leadership.
 Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 (Stayner, Ontario*) per year
 
The actual compensation offered will be based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, applicable market data, internal equity, and business needs, and may vary within the stated range. This role may be eligible for bonus, incentive compensation, or other variable pay in accordance with applicable company plans."
