This is a Part-Time position at CRISTA Senior Living, Crista Shores in Silverdale, WA.
Compensation: $16.28 - $17 per hour depending on experience   
Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm Sat/Sun

POSITION SUMMARY   

The Dishwasher performs a variety of task directed by cooks, and supervisors. This position is responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen.  



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  

(General overview and may not include all details of responsibilities)  

DUTIES  

  • Operate dishwasher machine
  • Clean food service equipment as directed. Wash and clean pots, pans and other food service equipment. Air dry all dinnerware, pots and pans and then put away, following all sanitation standards and according to the established cleaning schedule
  • Put dry goods stock away when delivered
  • Remove trash and garbage as directed. Flatten and take out all cardboard boxes to the recycle bin
  • Mop floors and walk in coolers and freezers, on a daily basis, following all sanitation standards and according to the established cleaning schedule
  • Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and residents
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned

CHRIST CENTERED  
  • Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior
  • Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God (e.g. daily spiritual rhythms of prayer, fellowship, Bible study, etc).
  • Prayerfully seeks God’s will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA.
  • Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices.
  • Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC).
  • Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).
  • Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION  

  • Washington State Food Handler’s Permit

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS  

  • Read, write, communicate in and interpret English at a functional level
  • Ability to work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and residents

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS  

EDUCATION  

  • High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE  

  • Restaurant or Nursing Home experience
