This is a Full-Time position at CRISTA Ministries in Shoreline, WA. 
Compensation: 
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour depending on experience

POSITION SUMMARY
The Facilities Project Coordinator will play a vital role in advancing CRISTA’s mission and values by supporting construction projects within CRISTA’s community.  Under the guidance of the Director of Facilities, ensure that each project is completed on time and within budget. Manage various tasks essential to project success including data production and distribution, project analysis and report creation. Emphasize organization and collaboration when contributing to small construction projects. Generate scoping documents, develop schedules and support budget management while maintaining a focus on project goals.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DUTIES
Project Management:
  • Coordinate activities related to the program and project management disciplines.
  • Manage projects and provide team updates to ensure stakeholders are appropriately informed of project progress.
  • Monitor project costs and achievements while gathering project information from vendors, accounting team and designing team.
  • Analyze and generate report forecasting construction costs with recommendations for review by project stakeholders while ensuring plans and tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Evaluate and develop project documentation, providing recommendations to upper management and communicating with contractors and ministry personnel regarding change work orders.
  • Oversee the entire construction schedule, owner activities and CRISTA event calendar, making sure conflicts are avoided such as construction delays and cost overruns.
  • Make decisions regarding detail on all projects such as scope of work, color scheme, flooring, and lighting, management of scheduling to avoid time delays or vendor overlap. 
Project Administrator:
  • Gather, organize and maintain all project documentation and warranties.
  • Serve as team lead in planning and executing campus remodels and projects, overseeing the team’s progress and providing appropriate feedback.
  • Write and distribute project meeting minutes to the team in a timely manner.
  • Analyze all prospective vendors and recommend vendor selection. Manage vendor invoices during the construction project.
  • Attend meetings with contractors and Senior Living representatives to determine project logistics, ensuring project milestones and completion dates are being met and making sure residential units are “move in ready.”
Regulatory Management: 
  • Document all permits required by the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ).
  • Under manager’s supervision, assist in the procurement of all permits and inspections in a timely manner and communicate with the project team on the status of acquiring them.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Prayerfully seeks God’s will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA.
  • Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices.
  • Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC).
  • Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC). 
  • Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader.
EDUCATION
  • Associates degree from an accredited college recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent, or 2 years’ experience in construction management or project development.
EXPERIENCE
  • Two years’ experience in exempt level classification, working independently, exercising independent judgement in project work and development.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of workflow process related to project succession.
  • Ability to communicate clear and concise direction with vendors and contractors.  
SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe

  • Flexibility to work construction hours.
  • Good listening skills and ability to gain and keep associates’ trust.

  • Expertise in small project management.
SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE
  • Proficient user of CAD or BIM programs.
