Role Summary
The Sales Manager will lead and inspire a team of Debt Consultants to achieve exceptional results while staying true to CreditAssociates’ mission of helping clients regain financial freedom. This role balances people, performance, and purpose: creating a positive and accountable culture where team members feel supported and motivated, ensuring disciplined execution to consistently hit sales and revenue targets, and fostering a customer-first approach that builds trust and long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive the Sales System
- Implement and enforce structured sales processes, call flows, and best practices.
- Ensure every rep follows the CreditAssociates sales playbook with discipline.
- Monitor and manage daily activity, conversion rates, and sales pipeline health.
2. Coach for Consistent Performance
- Conduct daily huddles to set focus and energy.
- Deliver 1:1 coaching sessions with clear goals, feedback, and action steps.
- Use call monitoring, role-play, and data-driven insights to sharpen rep skills.
3. Manage Metrics Relentlessly
- Own team KPIs: calls, transfers, talk time, close rates, debt enrolled per rep, and clients enrolled.
- Review dashboards daily to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Proactively adjust tactics and resources to keep the team on plan.
4. Build a High-Energy, High-Ownership Culture
- Foster accountability: celebrate wins, call out underperformance quickly, and set standards.
- Keep morale high with contests, recognition, and a positive, competitive environment.
- Align team behavior with company values and revenue goals.
5. Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Partner with Operations, Training, and Marketing to ensure leads are qualified and teams are supported.
- Provide feedback from the frontline to influence strategy, product, and process improvements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of inside sales experience
- 3+ years of proven experience managing inside sales teams, preferably in debt settlement, financial services, or call center environments.
- A system-oriented leader who thrives on process, discipline, and measurable results.
- Strong coaching skills: able to inspire, develop, and hold people accountable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- High emotional intelligence, resilience, and drive to win.
Success Metrics
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.
- Consistent attainment of key activity and conversion KPIs across the team.
- Improved ramp speed and retention of new sales reps.
- Positive team engagement, accountability, and culture.
Compensation
- Base Salary plus monthly and quarterly bonuses based on production, retention and KPI performance
