We follow a hybrid model, so employees are expected to be in the office 2 days per week.   
 
The        Opportunity:

You will be responsible for harnessing the power of cutting-edge cloud technologies to drive efficiency, scalability, and innovation in Qualifacts healthcare systems across diverse corporate environments. This is a vital pivotal role in the seamless integration of mission-critical health management solutions, enabling our organizations to optimize patient care, streamline operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
 
The primary objective is to architect, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions that drive efficiency, scalability, and innovation. Lead the design and deployment of robust cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across systems.
 
 
Your Responsibilities:
 
  • Configure and Optimize AWS DMS Settings, Manage Data Collection from SQL Server, Leverage Amazon S3 as Snowflake Staging Area (or similar technology).
  • Implement Bulk Load and CDC migration strategies, monitor and troubleshoot AWS DMS Performance for Snowflake Integration (or similar technology).
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud architectures that meet Qualifacts's performance and reliability requirements.
  • Continuously assess and optimize cloud systems for cost efficiency, performance, and resource utilization.
  • Ensure that cloud environments adhere to industry-standard security practices and regulatory compliance requirements, and proactively address security vulnerabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior cloud, database and system engineering staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and align cloud solutions with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate internal teams and key stakeholders on cloud technologies, best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Desing robust monitoring and alerting systems and respond to incidents promptly to maintain high system availability.
  • Manage relationships with cloud service providers, being informed about their offerings, and negotiating contracts to optimize costs.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Forecast resource requirements, conduct capacity planning, and recommend scaling strategies to accommodate business growth.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cloud trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in cloud services and processes.
  • Utilize SQL Server Native API to Reduce Latency for Snowflake (or similar technology)
 
 
.Qualifications:
 
  • Technical/bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related careers.
  • Ideal AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar.
  • Ideal Microsoft Certified (Azure Solutions Architect Expert) or similar.
  • Ideal Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar.
  • Ideal Certified Cloud Practitioner or similar.
  • Ideal TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) Certification or similar.
  • Vendor-Specific Certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure DevOps, other).
  • Experience in configuring and optimizing AWS DMS, manage data collection from SQL Server, Amazon S3 and Snowflake (or similar technologies).
  • Strong understanding implementing bulk loads and CDC migration strategies, monitor and troubleshoot AWS DMS Performance for Snowflake Integration (or similar technologies).
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity implementing and maintaining scalable and secure cloud architectures to meet Qualifacts's performance and reliability requirements.
  • Familiarity with latest cloud trends, emerging technologies, and Cloud best practices.
  • AWS DMS Expertise.
  • Snowflake Integration.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon S3, Snowflake or similar technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skill in foreseeing potential issues and taking proactive measures to prevent them.
  • Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in Cloud Systems).
