We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Manager to lead our product development team in India. As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of our Web-based EHR system. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including .NET Developers, Database Developers, QA, and other stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Microsoft technologies, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and web.
Responsibilities for the Manager, Engineering
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of .NET Developers in Agile/Scrum environment
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and enhancements
- Drive the software development process from planning, design, and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Ensure that the team follows best practices, coding standards, and quality
- guidelines to deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Work closely with the US-based teams to align development efforts with the overall company strategy and vision
Qualifications of the Manager, Engineering
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Microsoft technologies, including .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C#
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large development teams (15+ members) in an Agile/Scrum environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Manager, Engineering
- Extensive expertise in Microsoft technologies, including C#, .NET Core, MVC, React, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS 3.0
- Sound knowledge of database management systems, with hands-on experience in SQL Server and MongoDB
- Familiarity with additional infrastructure and services such as Elmah, New Relic, SSRS, AWS Services & Microservices Architecture
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and time zones to achieve project goals and meet deadlines
