Trainee Gameplay Programmer – New IP

Description

Our world-class team are seeking a Trainee Programmer for a unique development opportunity to work on our new undisclosed IP.

The successful candidate will receive mentoring from members of the development to implement, improve and maintain the codebase during project development.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to provide programming support within the team and have good C++ skills in order to develop production code which is robust, neat and maintainable. Using industry standard tools for development and source control, the successful candidate will optimize and fix bugs on existing implementations as well as implementing and iterating on a new system.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience 

Essential

  • A good BSc or equivalent in a relevant subject such as math, computer science or engineering
  • Fluent in C++ programming
  • Excellent collaborative and interpersonal abilities
  • Attention to detail and a passion for making quality products
  • An excellent academic background in computer science, math or engineering
  • A working knowledge of Unreal 4
Desirable
  • A portfolio of work
The traineeship will be for one year onsite at our studio in Horsham, West Sussex.

These traineeships are paid placements and all applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK.
