Cosette is headquartered in Bridgewater, NJ with 2 additional locations in the U.S. The South Plainfield, NJ office consists of an R&D Laboratory and other functional areas. The Lincolnton, NC site is a fully functioning, state of the art, manufacturing facility.

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for recording, analyzing and maintaining financial accounting data across a variety of accounting areas. The position will be required to work with multiple members of the senior accounting team and in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Strong analytical and organizational skills are needed to best support the accounting team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Record, maintain and reconcile fixed assets across the company.
  • Maintain and record Prepaid expenses. Ensure accurate recording as per company policies.
  • Analyze monthly sales for revenue recognition. Monitor and record deferred revenue.
  • Perform Bank reconciliation, daily cash balance reporting. Assist senior management in Cash flow forecasting.
  • Support bank reporting by preparing AR and AP reports for monthly submissions.
  • Assist in Month-end close process.
  • Prepare assigned Balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations, roll-forwards and provide analysis where applicable.
  • Actively participate in audits by performing functions like coordination, liaison and being responsible for assigned areas.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and support accounting projects/initiatives as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business or Finance
  • Must have worked or be familiar with various areas of accounting- AR, AP, GL, Fixed assets, financial statements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Oracle or ERP experience required.
  • 2-4 years' of progressive experience in accounting required
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Strong ability to research, troubleshoot and resolve issues in assigned areas of work.
  • Generic pharmaceutical industry and/or manufacturing company experience preferred.
