Pulmonology Clinical Lecturer (Independent Contractor)

Description

The Lecturer position will support the Account Director and Account Manager in the design, development and delivery of curriculum materials related to clinical competencies, new provider toolkits and VBC education for the Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship program. This will include curriculum review/additions, content development, delivery of content via synchronous and asynchronous modalities and participation in live Q&A sessions with program fellows.  

  

Position Description: 

  • Preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, seminars, and live Q&A sessions.
  • Development of content related to the following clinical specialties. Note that qualified candidates will have experience in at least one of the clinical specialties listed below:
    • Pulmonology
  • Collaborating with other academics and lecturers to improve teaching methods and expand knowledge base.
  • Evaluating fellow’s comprehension of the delivered content.

  

Qualifications: 

  • Physician, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • 5+ years of experience in at least one of the clinical specialties listed above is highly preferred
  • Able to work collaboratively and effectively with other lecturers and account leadership
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work well independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
