The Senior Financial and Operational Analyst (“SFOA”) is a critical role in the Operations and Finance teams, directly supporting the optimization of financial success for the organization and within each line of business.  By living in the details, the SFOA will dive deep into the underlying data to understand the inputs holistically so we can continue to improve forecasts, deliver actionable insights and results, and bring greater visibility with our leadership team and across functions.  In this role you will report to both  the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and AVP, Operations to support both finance and operations across the organization.

Position Description: 
  • Ensures efficient use of resources by supporting our resources management tool and inputs to ensure complete and address tool issues where needed
  • Maintains and update our project management platform (Monday), enhances boards and provides reporting from the tool to ensure efficient delivery – supports other areas of the company (workforce and ECM) to leverage Monday and other account management tools as needed
  • Provides regular updates and review of company performance through balanced scorecard preparation, driving client satisfaction use case development
  • Provides performance data to the team by producing monthly scorecards and ensuring teams review  
  • Provide insightful financial and operating results and metrics to optimize financial performance and support strategic decision-making
  • Maintain and update financial analytics surrounding Revenue, Gross Profit, and Expenses
  • Source and analyze data from company IT platforms (CRM Tool, Professional Services Automation Tool, Financial Tools) to drive decision-making on resourcing and key growth investments
  • Facilitate the management of budgeted resources by anticipating expenditures, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility
  • Develop complex business modeling and analysis to promote growth and cost efficiency across business and product lines.  Manage and drive efficiencies in company’s cost base through analysis of key expense drivers
  • Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key data is timely and accurate
  • In partnership with Director of Finance, identify and lead initiatives to improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, or methodologies
  • Uphold consistent standards across all deliverables for ease of use, transferability, and sustainability
  • Provide personalized and quality service by communicating with internal customers to address financial and budget questions

    Qualifications: 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred, equivalent experience will also be considered
    • 3+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst position, with significant experience in budgeting, financial analysis, data analysis, and modeling
    • Demonstrated financial planning, financial operations, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
    • Ability to prepare and present budgets and forecasts
    • Operationally adept, with the ability to connect revenues and expenses to operational data and activities
    • Prefer experience with Microsoft PowerBI, SQL, Tableau, DOMO, or other advanced reporting and analysis tools with expertise
    • Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Adaptable and flexible in a complex, changing environment
    • A highly analytical and naturally curious nature
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to follow set standards in order to maintain consistency of deliverables
