Conviva is seeking a Solution Architect. The ideal candidate should have a Solution Architect/Sales Engineer/Solutions Engineer background, as they will be responsible for tackling the technically most advanced conversations within Conviva’s customers. They should be highly diplomatic, as they will play a critical role in building relationships with strategic clients ensuring their overall satisfaction with our company, support and solutions. As a customer-facing Solution Architect, you should have excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

What you get to do
The Solution Architect role evolved from Conviva's Technical Field Team, blending Sales Engineering, Customer Success and Account Management and is well-suited to our low volume, high value, high touch engagement model. SAs are the technical heavy artillery within the Conviva field team, with technical knowledge exceeding those of a typical Solutions Consultant, acting as a floating technical subject matter expert in both pre and post sales environments as well as advanced consulting engagements.

The role is intended for those with technical pre-sales and/or post-sales experience. The Solutions Architect (SA) is a dynamic role that couples consultative selling with deep technical knowledge of video delivery and/or analytics. The SA works closely with the Account Executive and Solutions Consultants to understand our client/prospect’s technical challenges and requirements while proposing solutions that best exploit our product capabilities. Championing new product requirements and features for development is key given the SA’s unique position as an overlay across strategic accounts and prospects.
A successful SA must be outgoing, organized, and results-oriented. The ideal candidate should have the business acumen to speak confidently to C-Level execs, as well as the technical expertise to engage with IT professionals as a “Trusted Advisor”. He/She must be a good listener and ask appropriate questions in order to better understand the client’s business and then guide the client through operationalizing Conviva’s solutions to ensure success.
Our customers use data daily to drive intelligent measurable business decisions. It’s critical for an SA to see beyond the numbers, analyze complex datasets and create visualizations, enable customers to operationalize our data for the purposes of strategic planning as well as tactical root-cause analysis

What you bring to the role
· Proven work experience as a Solution Architect, Sales Engineer or Solution Consultant with a SaaS, Video Infrastructure, or technology consultancy business supporting enterprise size accounts
· Architect-level knowledge of OTT video delivery ecosystems, including content encoding & packaging, CMS, origin servers and CDNs, player frameworks, SDKs, monetization, Dynamic Ad Insertion & security components as well as analytics & reporting.
· Experience with statistical analysis, working with big data sets and advertising / media analytics
· Deep passion regarding technology and the streaming video evolution
· Creative problem solver with the ability to think outside the box and quickly adapt to change

· 7+ years of professions work experience in SaaS, digital technology company
· 2+ Years of Solution Pre-sales experience – Sales Engineer/Solution Architect/Solution Engineer in a revenue driven role
· Demonstrated track record of selling clients on thought leadership and solutions
· Knowledge/Expertise in Digital Video infrastructure (CDNs, Encoding, Player technologies, Dynamic Ad Insertion, Content Analytics etc.) preferred
· Keen attention to detail and consistent follow-through to commitments
· Ability to work autonomously and to prioritize tasks while managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent English speaking, communication, presentation, and writing skills
· Experience leading or conducting meetings and presentations to C-level executives and other technical customers
· Comfortable balancing the intersection of technology and business challenges
· The ability to read a room picking up on non-verbal communication while adjusting tone and technical depth to the target audience.
· Willingness to travel up to 40% across the region
· BS in Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
