Product Experience Design Internship (Students only)

What We Are Looking For:
Product Experience Designers at EPAM Continuum work on projects that join industrial design, strategy and user experiences. We are seeking students willing to intern on our Product Experience Design team in Milan. This internship involves real-world projects in an international, highly demanding environment and is for designers willing to put their hands on all aspects of a product. These aspects range from forms to interfaces, strategy to packaging, and communication to product development.
What You Will Be Doing:
As an intern you will support the team in envisioning non-obvious, original product experiences. Design emotionally appealing products as part of compelling strategies for brands and do front-end research and translate it into tangible design solutions.
This is an immersive 6 months unpaid internship and requires a full-time commitment. It is not a graduation project.
Who We Are Looking For:
Current students in design, technology or related disciplines. (We welcome designers with a diverse educational background). International experience is a plus.
- Able to be detail-oriented and meticulous, precise yet imaginative.
- Able to work under minimal supervision.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills: English is a must, other languages a plus.
- 3D modelling skills (Solidworks or any other parametric modelling software is a plus)
- Solid prototyping skills (digital prototyping skills are a plus).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite.
