Card Portfolio Leader 

Consumers Credit Union is looking to hire a passionate Card Portfolio Leader to join our team. In this role, you will create best-in-class credit, debit and mobile wallet offering through innovation and optimization. You will maximize penetration in marketplace through result-driven campaigns, crafting new products/offering and card promotions. You will also analyze card data, gain employee and member feedback to gain insights for continual improvement.

What you will be doing: 

  • Develops and monitors credit and debit products through their lifecycle to improve acquisition, reduce attrition, maximize interchange and usage, and grow credit card balances.
  • Leverage insights and member data to create and execute targeted strategies to drive usage, engagement and acquisition.  
  • Conduct market research, drive product innovation and enhancements to increase member satisfaction & adoption rates.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally with key stakeholders to create & execute product vision and strategy.
  • Analyze data to determine trends, strategy of products, services and campaigns.
  • Research and analyze competitive landscape to create recommendations on products, services, usage, rates and fees.
  • Optimize pricing, rates and fees, while driving revenue growth and cost optimization across card platforms.
  • Solicit and incorporate stakeholder feedback. Communicate effectively throughout credit union on product performance and future developments.
  • Collaborate with Digital stakeholders to design and enhance member experiences across credit, debit and mobile wallet platforms.
  • Works extensively with vendors to create trusted partnerships, contributing to the success of the products.
  • Prepare, implement, and supervise debit/credit goals for the department that supports the overall strategy of the credit union.
  • Support and implement credit and debit card innovation and product enhancements.
  • Manage support cases with partners; leads escalations when needed.
  • Assist in any area as directed by your supervisor.

What you will bring to the table: 

  • Four years of relevant experience, preferably in payments, cards or product support.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Ability to interpret regulations affecting interchange, Regulation E and Card Act.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Understands credit union history, philosophy, organization by-laws and operating procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Consumers products and services.
