Human Resources & Training Intern
Consumers Credit Union is looking to hire a passionate Human Resources & Training Intern! As an intern, you will support the HR and Training Department and gain hands on experience in various functions and provide exceptional service to credit union employees.

What you'll be doing:
Human Resources
- Maintain HR records and employee data using our human resources information system (HRIS).
- Assist in Employee Handbook revisions.
- Audit employee records, such as background checks, I-9's and offer letters.
- Assist in administering employee health, welfare and retirement plans company-wide under direction of HR Team.
Training & Development
- Manage accessibility audits for existing employee trainings.
- Oversee and maintain procedure intake form.
- Develop training catalog, including a breakdown of all existing training materials.
- Assist in coordination of training sessions and workshops.
- Maintain our leadership and growth program.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Bilingual preferred, but not required.
- College junior or equivalent, seeking Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
