Consumers Credit Union is looking for a passionate System Administrator to join our team! This position is responsible for system administration of at least one Area of Expertise (e.g. Core, LOS, OLB, Mortgage, Business services, etc.). The Business Analyst I manages system configuration, escalated issue resolution, and leads project support to ensure seamless member and employee experiences. This position collaborates across departments and with vendors to implement enhancements, maintain compliance and contribute to strategic initiatives that align with Consumers’ strategic plan.
This position is responsible for supporting our Business Services team within Operations. The role will manage the business loan origination service, business online banking, business remote deposit capture, and various other functionality supporting business banking.
What you'll be doing:
- Owns resolution of high-impact support tickets within area of expertise.
- Monitors system performance and uptime; escalate issues promptly.
- Tracks vendor updates and roadmap items; communicate changes to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with vendors to shape and influence direction/addition of high value enhancements and fixes. Seeks opportunities to “beta” new functionality.
- Research innovative products to support the credit union’s strategic plan, member/team member experience, and frictionless experiences.
- Creates and maintains system infrastructure, including templates, workflows, and other pieces needed to efficiently and accurately complete employee/member journeys.
- Determines how to best leverage new capabilities and enhancements introduced by vendors, or workaround unexpected changes. Includes researching and understanding new version releases and communicating with management on how lines of business would benefit/be impacted
- Create and maintain technical documentation, workflows, and “how-to” guides.
- Collaborate with training teams to develop end-user resources and self-help materials.
- Ensure owned systems are functioning in accordance with applicable laws and regulations relating to given area; maintain an understanding and keep abreast of regulatory changes that impact systems and practices.
- Provide informal guidance and knowledge sharing to peers by assisting with troubleshooting, system processes, and supporting teammates during projects or escalations.
- Builds strong relationships with internal teams and vendors to deliver superior service.
- Uses self-guided decision-making and judgement to identify and act on next best actions, especially regarding time sensitive solution implementation and keeping projects moving.
- Solves common issues for systems outside their own to resolve issues as needed. Serves as temporary backup to other Areas of Expertise on occasion.
- Optimize system uptime and functionality.
- Provide backup support for other areas of expertise when needed.
- 2+ years of related experience and/or experience in business, financial or related field preferred.
- Consistent positive, how-can-we attitude.
- Demonstrates mastery of one area of expertise, as well as ability to assist with Tier 1 issues for another area of expertise.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the best interest of the member/team member and Consumers.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to work at a high level of efficiency and service while managing multiple tasks and project.
- A high level of comfort with technology, and the desire to learn and use new technology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of collaborating in a group or one on one; educating, leading/coaching, planning, organizing.
