The Consumers Credit Union team is looking to hire a passionate Junior Financial Advisor to join our team. This position is an introductory level position in Investment Services. The position will involve helping investment champions in the offices as well as helping with IRA questions and Investment questions in the MSC and the retail offices. The Junior Financial Advisor will also assist the Senior Program Coordinator and Representatives as needed. It will also eventually involve servicing clients with assets under $25K. The junior rep position will also help to expand the overall penetration and participation levels of the current investment services program and ensure ongoing quality service to existing members/clients. It is a development position with a three to five-year timeline goal to move into the standard office representative.
What you'll be doing:
• Assists members in general investment options.
• Cross-sells credit union products and services and acts upon referral opportunities to maintain a ratio consistent with goals.
• Demonstrates knowledge of all Consumers products and services.
• Successfully tests and maintains: Series 7, Series 66, Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Licenses, and State specific securities and investment licenses.
• Maintains all files and records to meet compliance requirements and standards.
• Becomes knowledgeable with IRA accounts.
• Develops an understanding of Credit Union rules, regulations, philosophy, organization by‐laws and operating procedures.
• Develops knowledge and training with a wide range of investment products.
• Assist in any area as directed by your supervisor.
What you'll bring to the table:
• Success requires a bachelor’s degree in Business (or equivalent work experience).
• Successfully completes: Series 7, Series 66, Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Licenses, and State specific securities and investment licenses.
