Mortgage Loan Processor
The Consumers Credit Union team is looking to hire a passionate Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will be responsible for facilitating an exceptional member experience through a timely mortgage loan credit decision and loan closing. Pipeline of assigned loans will include FNMA loans as well as all Consumers Portfolio loans (including construction).

What you will do:
- Process conventional FNMA loans (fixed rate and ARMs) and all Consumers Portfolio loans (including construction loans) within timeframes set by management.
- Review, verify and update all data entered into the Encompass system including documentation of income, assets, credit history, appraisal, title work, property tax information, insurance information and legal descriptions. This process includes third party verification of employment, income, assets and credit reporting data to complete file for underwriting review.
- Clear all conditions requested by underwriting and mortgage insurance companies to move file to closing expeditiously.
- All initial file reviews to be completed within timeframe set by management.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Minimum three years of residential mortgage processing experience preferred
- Detailed knowledge of mortgage lending including conventional and portfolio lending experience preferred
- Demonstrated skill in monitoring and overseeing loan production pipeline preferred
- Experience with the Encompass Loan Origination System is preferred
- Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), Internet Browsers and email functions required
- Solid math and calculation skills
- Exceptional member service skills
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently and consistently produce accurate work
- Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a heavy volume of mortgage loan transactions
- Proven aptitude to work in both a team and individual environment
- Sound judgement skills to make quick decisions within written policy and standard operating procedures
- Display high levels of professionalism and ethics
