Your Role
The Vendor Sourcing Associate’s primary objective is to research and identify new and relevant trade partner service providers for our growing property portfolio across the nation.    

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify and assess potential new vendors.
  • Develop and expand trade partnerships in order to meet ongoing and future business needs.
  • Employ methods of recruiting to include cold calling, social media, networking and traveling in-market to conduct grass roots recruiting events.
  • Gather new vendor compliance documentation, including COI, Trade Licences and any additional relevant legally required forms.
  • Identify and communicate with other departments on vendor needs in select markets for geographical coverage, trade capability, and capacity requirements.
  • Review on-going training, key performance indicators, initial expectations, and policies with trade partners.
  • Manage initial onboarding of new vendors in the field.
  • Develop trusting relationships with vendors, as well as with internal Conrex functions: local market management, construction project management, finance, acquisition and legal.
  • Conduct all business in accordance with our company policies and all state and federal regulations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
