Job Description & Summary:

- Adhere to strict State and Federal eviction guidelines
- Continuously updating Conrex Tracking systems (QuickBase, MRI, etc) with legal updates from attorneys.
- Negotiating payoff deadlines and payment plans.
- Completing legal notices and legal payment options for residents.
- This position must be filled by someone who is comfortable speaking to attorneys and works well under pressure.
Key Accountabilities & Activities:
Monitoring Specialist and Attorney Performance
- Provide direction to the eviction specialist(s), and associates/ representatives to facilitate collections and mitigate future aging delinquency accounts.
- Actively manage the evictions process to ensure internal and 3rd party attorneys keep to timelines and allow for people to recover while protecting the investor asset.
- Directing the Evictions department, policies, internal process functionality, and strategic plans.
- Review current processes and workflows and make recommendations of changes for more efficient and productive results as well as assuring proper division of duties for internal control purposes
- Establish work standards, develop objectives, and design/maintain effective workflows and operating procedures
Evictions daily Operations (Process and Systems) improvement
- Assist Specialist with urgent legal / attorney concerns
- Review and approve attorney invoices
- Continue to review attorney performance and vet new attorneys
Supervisory Accountabilities
- Complete schedule needs
- Attend virtual hearings in the absence of the Eviction Specialist
- Prepare legal documents for Bench Trials in all markets
Key Outcomes:
- Average day in eviction <60
- <10% Eviction Exceptions
- >50% cure rate
- 30 Day Collection rate 96%
Preferred Education and Experience:
- At least 2+ years of experience in collections or paralegal services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Spanish Speaking -Preferred but not required
- Experience supervising a team
Competencies (Behaviors and Technical Skills):
- PC skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Must be results-oriented and persistent when faced with obstacles
- Must be able to function effectively in a high paced, high demand environment.
- Must be able and willing to work extended hours as the business need requires.
- Strong work ethic (example: attendance, dependability, etc.)
