Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and effectively implementing a marketing plan to drive traffic and sales, based on facts, analytics, and collaboration with cross-functional departments. They will partner with groups internal and external to implement a strategic marketing plan that aligns with our company’s vision.  In this role, you will be optimizing our marketing strategies, managing the marketing department’s budget and staff, as well as preparing forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute brand standards for community marketing plans, budgets, deliverables/tactics, and vendor relations.
  • Manage projects and deadlines with vendors and the internal marketing team.
  • Manage, coach, and develop marketing professionals to support the local and field teams.
  • Oversees property photography projects, branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
  • Address all customer complaints across multiple platforms
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management
  • Keeping informed of marketing strategies and trends
  • Oversees property photography projects
  • Develops and conducts training for new programs and continuing education of marketing initiatives
  • Manage the company’s website
  • Serve as primary marketing contact for Onsite and Operations teams which may include assignment of a specific portfolio based on regional needs.
  • Take the initiative to research, define, and launch cutting-edge technology and programs to increase performance.
  • Develops a specific marketing plan for all long-day on-market homes to drive qualified leads into leases.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new community developments and creative strategies.

Key Metrics:

  • Ensure all marketing needs by region are being met on a monthly basis
  • Long day-on-market homes have quality consistent online exposure week over week
  • Executes successful management of the company’s marketing budget, team, and brand
  • Monitoring of consistency of listing ads, social media advertisements, and online reviews

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing related field or equivalent skill/experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing or advertising
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 365) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Proficient knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  • Experience in sales and marketing environment within Real Estate is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong leadership skills including managing team members, high accountability, and influencing other department heads or upper management.

Competencies (Behaviors and Technical Skills):

  • Prefer experience with property management software. RealPage, and/or MRI
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Applications, and Social Media Platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of property management software systems such as MRI.
  • Extensive computer software skills such as Excel and other Microsoft products.
  • Ability to create and give guidance in the areas of marketing presentations.
  • Strong acumen for marketing data evaluation and presentation.
  • Able to be flexible and adapt to changing schedules and deadlines.
