CONREX is a leader in the Single-Family Rental industry, and we believe that our employees are our greatest strength. We are seeking an experienced Evictions Specialist to join our team onsite in Charleston, SC.
Job Summary:

- We are looking for someone who has the drive, experience, and skills to continue our expanding Collections team.
- Adhere to strict State and Federal eviction guidelines
- Continuously updating Conrex Tracking systems (QuickBase, MRI, etc.) with legal updates from attorneys.
- Negotiating payoff deadlines and payment plans, making sure all systems are consistent with this information for follow up, tracking and reporting purposes.
- Completing legal notices and legal payment options for residents.
- This position must be filled by someone who is comfortable speaking to attorneys and works well under pressure
Key Accountabilities & Activities
Monitoring Resident and Attorney Performance
- Review resident documentation and payment trends daily.
- Communicate with Attorney for each market for continuous updates and reflect them in Conrex tracking systems
- Report any settlement options or court issues to Supervisor.
- Responsible for Evictions inbox and answering emails timely.
- Report any known causes of account discrepancies to Supervisor
- Assist with eviction questions from residents.
- Monitor credit and collection trends to management.
Evictions daily Operations (Process and Systems) improvement
- Identify resident payments and communicate to the appropriate market attorney
- Assist with updating MRI legal status changes
- Assist with a variety of projects and perform other duties as assigned
- Outbound legal notices and Outbound calls to residents in last stages of eviction
- Create and manage Eviction payment options with residents
- Adhere always to fair housing laws
- Treat all tenant with utmost respect and courtesy
Key Outcomes
- Perform well under pressure.
- Accomplishment of KPI goals by year end
Preferred Education and Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in collections or paralegal services
- Prior experience in high volume data entry
- Prior experience working in a Call Center environment dealing with large volume of calls daily
- Spanish Speaking -Preferred but not required
Competencies (Behaviors and Technical Skills)
- PC skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Excellent math skills
- Must be results-oriented and persistent when faced with obstacles
- Must be able to function effectively in a high paced, high demand environment.
- Must be able and willing to work extended hours as the business need requires.
- Strong work ethic (example: attendance, dependability, etc.)
