About the Role:
Confluent is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, problem solver to own GTM strategy and processes for the Cloud Acquisition & Sales Development team. This role will be responsible for driving excellence in execution, operational planning and providing first line support to Cloud Acquisition and Sales Development Leadership.
This role will sit in the GTM Strategy & Operations organization, but will work closely with various stakeholders across Global Field Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations, GTM Strategy and GTM Excellence (Enablement) to bring a programmatic approach to OKRs, quarterly & annual planning, pipeline generation, productivity improvements, forecasting and sales funnel optimization.
This role will require a deep understanding of Inside Sales, strong leadership skills and a proven track record of leading strategic projects and process improvements within a high performing sales team.

This role will be a part of the Cloud Acquisition & Sales Development leadership team alongside the VP of Cloud Acquisition & Sales Dev, their leadership team, and the Operations Lead for CAR & SDR.
What You Will Do:
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive projects that fill gaps in the organization.
- Be the owner of all key processes within the Cloud Acquisition & Sales Development team.
- Own the GTM processes for CAR, implement and manage robust operational processes to ensure GTM execution.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Global Field Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations, GTM Strategy and GTM Excellence (Enablement).
- Create a programmatic approach to all CAR processes and initiatives.
- Develop systems to address operational issues and escalations effectively, working with cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to pinpoint inefficiencies and develop solutions to drive improvements.
- Partner with GTM Excellence organization to create a drumbeat of enablement and sales plays for the CAR and SDR team.
- Operational Planning: you will be a key contributor in both the annual and quarterly planning process by contributing to the development of programs, identifying the go forward strategy, and by creating processes to advance the team forward.
- Build and execute Cloud Acquisition (CAR) Team & SDR OKRs in partnership with the leadership team.
- First-Line Support for the VP of Cloud Acquisition & Sales Development. Trusted partner to the VP of CAR & SDR by leading key initiatives across programs, processes, and strategy that advance the Inside Sales GTM motion.
- Partner with Theater (GEO) Leaders in the Cloud Acquisition organization to implement new strategies, programs and processes as well as identify areas in need of improvement.
What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years of related experience in GTM operations, consulting, program management or a related discipline.
- Proven Experience in GTM Operations, Programs or Consulting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts at all levels and to create clear and simple executive and enablement communications.
- Ability to dive deep into business requirements with our business system partners.
- Be successful in communicating tradeoff decisions to leadership.
- Ability to use data to tell stories and present to large groups to drive actions.
- Proven ability to navigate complexity.
- Strong problem solving capabilities with the ideal candidate thriving in navigating and solving complex problems.
- Handle ambiguity, and have the creative mindset to develop solutions that move the business forward.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and creative with strong project management experience.

We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $128,700 - 151,200 USD, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
