About the Role:

• Crafting code for rolling upgrades, provisioning, scaling clusters, multi-region deployments, disaster recovery, and secure configuration management.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the development of innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
• Championing open-source community-building initiatives, leveraging your passion for fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

What you will Bring:

• Proven Experience: With 5+ years in software design and development, you bring a strong foundation in building scalable, reliable systems.
• Technical Proficiency: You're proficient in Python, Java or Go, with hands-on experience in platform/infrastructure deployment at scale.
• Automation Expertise: You have a solid understanding of automation principles and tools, with experience in operating large-scale data systems.

What gives you an edge:

• Distributed Systems Experience: Previous involvement in operating distributed data systems at scale is highly advantageous.
• Kafka/Confluent Knowledge: Familiarity with Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform is a significant plus.
• DevOps Mastery: Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools further strengthens your candidacy.
