We’re seeking a business-oriented Legal Operations Analyst to join our growing legal team. In this role, you will assist help ensure that the company adheres to the highest standards of legal compliance. 

  

What You Will Do: 

  • Assist in the continuous development, improvement, and optimization of existing systems and processes 
  • Support evaluation, requirements gathering, scoping, solution designing, testing, deployment, and training and enablement of legal technology solutions 
  • Generate ad-hoc reports, maintain and create metrics dashboards, and develop quarterly KPIs for leadership team review 
  • Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, knowledge libraries, and playbooks to provide onboarding, training, and technical support to legal teammates and internal clients on Legal team technology and processes 
  • Execute day-to-day operations and administration of core legal technology, systems, and processes in areas such as litigation and investigation discovery requests, compliance obligations, knowledge management, billing management, matter and workflow management, etc. 
  • Perform legal invoice review, evaluate legal invoices against approved legal billing guidelines, and support quarterly and annual financial planning efforts  
  • Support special projects as they arise 

  

Additionally: 
  • Serve as a resource to the Legal leadership team for Special Projects 
  • Enable efficiencies by creating seamless access to department institutional knowledge through the organization and centralization of key templates, policies, processes, and other knowledge materials 
  • Coordinate closely with Business Systems, Finance, Compliance, HR and other cross-functional partners on multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives 

  

What You Will Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from 4 year university 
  • At least 2 years of experience working as an operations analyst 
  • At least 2 years of experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments (e.g. law firm, consulting, start-up) 
  • Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, can manage large datasets and utilize vlookups, hlookups, pivot tables, and pivot charts, with ease 
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Asana), workflow intake tools (e.g. Jira, ServiceNow), and HR information systems (e.g. Workday) a plus
