About the Role:

Confluent is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Payroll Analyst to support our payrolls across EMEA and APJ, ensuring accurate and timely payroll.  You will work under payroll manager, internal partners, and end-users, supporting daily activities and ensuring Service Level Agreements are met. The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years of experience within Payroll at a multinational publicly traded company. Due to the fast-paced and high growth nature of the Company, the candidate must be adaptable, have strong organization and communication skills, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves along with a “can do” attitude.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the distribution of payrolls within the EMEA and APAC regions.
  • Daily employee support using our inquiry ticketing system.
  • Enter approved payroll payments into our global banking platform (where necessary).
  • Prepare the monthly payroll/compensation journal entries accurately selecting the correct GL account and cost centers.
  • Prepare other monthly payroll/compensation journal entries including accounting accruals such as PTO, leaving indemnity etc.
  • Prepare payroll reconciliations and provide support for reconciling items as required.
  • Assist with monthly variance fluctuations and provide detailed support with/to the accounting team.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience of processing payroll in EMEA or APAC regions.
  • Experience working in NetSuite, Workday, and CloudPay is a plus.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and all information obtained.
  • Experience in a rapid-growth start-up environment.
  • Experience working in a Shared Services environment and should be a team player.
