We are seeking a Social Media & Construction Brand Ambassador to join our on‑site team in Carol Stream, responsible for driving social media marketing initiatives that elevate our brand, engage industry audiences, and support business development efforts.

Job Summary:
The Social Media & Construction Brand Ambassador is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing innovative content strategies that strengthen brand awareness and expand our social media presence across key platforms. This role plays a critical part in planning and executing the company’s presence at industry tradeshows and events, while also supporting the sales team through compelling marketing content and targeted campaigns. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail‑oriented professional with strong project management skills, a passion for brand storytelling, and the ability to translate construction and field operations into engaging, market‑ready content.

Pay Range:  $60,000 - $70,000 annual salary
Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact on the pay for this position

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with business goals.
  • Create and manage promotional activities, product launches, and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Plan and coordinate trade shows, industry conferences, networking and employee engagement events.
  • Responsible for event logistics, including booth setup, promotional materials, and attendee engagement. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment.
  • Manage and update website content, ensuring SEO best practices are followed.
  • Lead the social media content strategy and production, creating short form videos, graphics, and photos for social channels.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms and increase digital footprint (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and customer outreach efforts.
  • Create marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, presentations, and advertisements.
  • Utilize design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to produce visually appealing assets.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on key marketing metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Some travel to trade shows is expected.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or relevant experience)
  • Must have working experience in marketing with a focus on branding, digital content creation and customer engagement
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management with demonstrated experience creating and posting content for brands
  • 2+ years of experience managing or assisting with influencer/ambassador programs and/or creator relationships
  • Strong ability to produce and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, etc.) with a rich understanding of techniques for engagement
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and how to apply them for brand visibility
  • Must be proficient in social media marketing across several platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Experience with end-to-end planning for trade shows and/or conferences is a plus
Technical & Soft Skills:
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) and social media scheduling tools
  • Experience with Google Analytics, SEO, and PPC advertising
  • Ability to use graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • A proactive, creative thinker who takes the initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment
