We are adding a few new roles to our Construction Department. Be a part of our growth and be a voice in our company!
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical equipment on Cell Phone Towers
- Travelling 90% of the time to our Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska locations (potentially other states as well)
- Work closely with construction crews and Project Managers to meet deadlines
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Be responsible for the electrical installation that meets client standards for the quality of work, with an emphasis on meeting the budgeted hours available.
- Be knowledgeable of all aspects of electrical construction materials and control equipment that make up the field installation part of a Cell Tower site
- Interprets drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems
- Inspects Cell Tower Sites for compliance with plans and specifications, point out deficiencies, coach and take corrective action as needed.
- Provides training, direction, and mentorship to our Electrical Apprentice/Construction Crews.
- Promote safety on the jobsite in connection with the installation and service work.
- Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Be a licensed Journeyman Electrician (Class A)
- Experience in the construction industry; Telecom Industry a plus
- Ability to work in a team environment with construction crews, Project Managers, and Foreman’s
- Work in all weather conditions
- Have a valid Driver’s License
