ABOUT THE POSITION     

We're looking for an Experienced Finishing Carpenter to help support the growth of Concorde Entertainment Group. The Finishing Carpenter will be responsible for on-site fabrication and installation, as well as building and assembling off-site. Experience in commercial construction, especially restaurants is preferred. Basic tools, a vehicle, and valid drivers license is required. Jobsites will be within the Calgary area.

WHAT YOU'LL DO     

    • Read and interpret blueprints.
    • Cabinetmaking and installation.
    • Operating woodworking machines.
    • Read and create detailed build plans to fulfil specifications required for the application.
    • Measure, cut, shape and assemble wood and other wood products.
    • Other duties required.

WHAT YOU HAVE     

    • Experience in commercial carpentry is an asset.
    • 2-4 years experience as a finishing carpenter is strongly preferred.
    • The ability to understand and interpret drawings, blueprints, and other specifications to visualize the final product.
    • Possess the creativity to come up with unique designs and solutions.
    • The ability to adapt to unexpected challenges and solve problems.
    • Ability to quickly develop rapport with clients and coworkers.
    • Ability to fluently communicate in English.
    • Attention to detail and a desire to produce high-quality, precise work.
    • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with precision tools.
    • A strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
    • A clean criminal background check and driver’s abstract is required for this position.
