Role Summary

The Clinical Patient Insights Delivery Manager is responsible for tracking and managing available curation data sources by disease area and/or deliverable type, calculating staffing and resourcing requirements for all curation and clinical project management staff in the Clinical Patient Insights (CPI) group, and coordinating operational workflows required to make the data accessible to users for curation work and deliverables.

The Clinical Patient Insights Delivery Manager reports to the Vice President of Clinical Patient Insights and works closely with the data partnership team, Clinical Project Management team, sales, finance, OSS scientific and research project management, RWD S&O staff, the curation software team, product managers, data product leads, and other key personnel to manage the flow of data assets through the curation pipeline and track deliverable expectations, case counts, staffing bandwidth, and revenue sharing expectations for all curated data products.


  • Development, implementation, and management of tools and documentation to complete all job responsibilities as outlined below
  • Track incoming case counts from data partnerships, including totals by disease type, client-specific enhancement requirements, curation usability, and other categorizations as required
  • Create or utilize 3rd-party tracking system to manage case sourcing for curation, based on data partner revenue sharing agreements, product growth requirements, internal data user needs, and external client requests as needed to meet contractual obligations and maintain data product scientific, statistic, and analytic standards
  • Coordinate requests for and access to cases for curation with the CPM, data product leads, and curation software team to avoid work stoppage or delivery delays
  • Consult with other managers within the CPI team to identify, model, and make recommendations for staffing and resourcing
    • The Clinical Project Management team to identify resourcing requirements for custom curation work, based on contracted work, or likelihood of contracting to project and report resourcing needs to leadership
    • CPI curation management team (on and offshore) to identify resourcing requirements for data product curation work, based on planned corporate growth, contracted client deliveries, and availability of data
  • Coordinate and participate in internal and external meetings
  • Maintain a professional approach respecting the dignity and confidentiality of associates, managers, and clients
  • Review and implement guidance documents, SOPS, and other key workflow documentation as needed
  • Performs all other duties, as assigned


  • BA/BS in Business or related field
  • 6-8 years of experience in a related field
  • Project management experience in clinical curation operations preferred
  • Strong project management knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of techniques and tools such as Confluence and JIRA
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Proficiency in project management software tools
  • Critical thinking and problem solving within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities
  • Conflict resolution experience
