This position reports to the EVP and GM of Real World Evidence Products, with responsibility for providing scientific and clinical leadership informing the roadmap for the development and enhancement of ConcertAI’s RWD data solutions.  In this capacity, the Medical Director will work with cross-functional teams to create industry-leading Data Products from CAI real world data assets. This individual will engage with key RWD customers (current and prospective); academic research partners; ConcertAI sales leaders and sales executives; ConcertAI Product Management team members;  Data Operations team members, and with the company’s technology product managers in assurance of aligned and coordinated capabilities that supports both organization GTM and financial objectives. 

  

  • Core Responsibilities Provide expert medical insights informing design of high quality data solutions incorporating scientific and clinical advances across therapeutic indications in the CAI portfolio
  • Engage in client-facing role as a CAI clinical thought leader interacting with client SMEs to understand scientific aims for client use cases for data products
  • Engage with client teams to interpret custom project requirements, scientific aims, and translate these requirements for internal stakeholders
  • Provide state of the art scientific and clinical expertise to Product Managers and their teams to inform product updates, design, and proactive management of the curation specification to optimize the value of each dataset across client use cases
  • Assist in the design and implementation of a publication plan to promote the validation and utility of CAI data products
  • Lead research projects in collaboration with academic partners, government agencies [e.g. FDA] and other entities to advance progress in the improvement of patient outcomes in cancer care
  • Monitor the scientific literature, major conference presentations, and other sources of cutting edge scientific studies in hematology/oncology and translate these findings to internal stakeholders to create innovative studies and solutions
  • Monitor case selection criteria for each product to optimize the dataset value
  • Support the Data Partnerships team in their engagements with provider organizations and other data providers and establish the scientific basis for RWD in advancing cancer care
  • Own physician to physician client relationships and promote ConcertAI capabilities in client and partner settings

 Requirements

 MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology

  • Five or more years experience working in industry role in a life sciences company; work in drug development role preferred
  • Track record of publication using Real World Data preferred
  • Demonstrated success in working with researchers in the life sciences industry
  • Scientific leadership demonstrated through prior roles, especially in hematology/oncology
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills
