Interface Engineer

Information Technology remote, Virginia

Concept Plus is seeking an Interface Engineer to assist a client in deploying care for patients across a variety of environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee the development, implementation, and operation of interfaces. This includes organizing and scheduling tasks, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Provide technical guidance and direction, and analyze complex information.
Collaboration
- Work with engineering and project teams, as well as external stakeholders.
Documentation
- Create and maintain interface registers, and document interface specifications and implementation details.
Communication
- Present systems to project teams, and provide clear guidance on their operation and importance.
Other responsibilities include:
- Liaising with external stakeholders
- Ensuring software and quality company processes and standards are met
- Designing and developing applications
- Contributing to software design documentation
- Analyzing requirements and determining end user needs

Required Experience:

10+ years experience
BS in Computer Science, Web Design, Web Development, or other related technical field, or 7 years of additional experience
US Citizenship with active Secret Clearance
Experience with and a deep understanding of Mirth, HL7 Messages, and CDA Messages is required.
Work well in a fast-paced environment, coordinating across multiple teams.
Familiar with Cloud computing.
Willingness to mentor and provide guidance to others.
Experience working with Federal government; DoD preferred.
