Position Summary:

Based out of Conair’s global headquarters in Stamford, CT, the Business Operations Coordinator is a dynamic and critical position, with a high-level of visibility within the organization.  This person plays a supporting role to the General Manager and aids in achieving the overall business objectives.  The successful candidate can quickly build strong relationships internally and externally, prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment and navigate through ambiguity when required. General responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • A high level of confidentiality is required as the candidate will serve as the Gatekeeper for all calls, mail, and interaction with internal and external requests to the General Manager.  
  • Oversee and coordinate administration and flow of the paperwork and approvals between cross-functional departments such as Finance, HR, Sales Operations and Marketing and build strong relationships with these groups.
  • Quickly emerge as a solution agent for the General Manager, routing and advising information as it comes through the department.  The right person can quickly highlight and prioritize critical business issues vs. non-critical issues.
  • Develop, streamline and recommend process improvements. This person has the capability to identify problems, see solutions and make recommendations for operational improvements and cost-saving strategies.
  • Revise, streamline and automate current financial approval processes.
  • Provide assistance in all areas of the business including Sales Operations, Sales Support and Executive Administration.
  • Provide support into expense reporting, invoice payment and tracking including setting up and managing new vendors ensuring compliance with expense management, company policies, procedures, processes, and procurement.
  • Follow internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.
  • Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned. 

Essential Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree in Business, Operations, Marketing or similar field.
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting Business Operations or a General Manager.
  • Expert level skills in Power Point and Microsoft Suite. Experience creating PP decks for presentations.
  • Strong analytical ability to connect the dots when looking at data.
  • Strong technical abilities and comfortable using Zoom, Teams and other technologies.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with Senior Level Management.
  • Must be a self-starter and self-motived.
  • The ideal candidate possesses superior problem-solving skills.

 Beneficial Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Personal Care, Health Care, Beauty industry is a plus.
