Conair LLC, a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of personal care, health & beauty products, premium kitchen electrics, and cookware, is seeking an eCommerce IT Project Manager in our Stamford, CT location.  The eCommerce IT Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, schedule, budget, and development for part of the eCommerce environment in North America.  This person will work with the eCommerce development partners (internal & external) to develop solutions to meet DTC requirements for the various North American business units of Conair.  This is an amazing opportunity to be on the ground floor of Conair’s fast-paced eCommerce evolution in dynamic team environment.  Our successful candidate will be passionate about keeping up to date on new trends and best practices for the eCommerce business, eager to continue their education of the applications and 3rd party integrations, and understand and be willing to accommodate the occasion hours required on weekends to support the 7x24 eCommerce environment

 

What You Will Do:

  • Manage assigned projects from inception to delivery
  • Identify risks and issues throughout the project, monitor service delivery, and initiate strategies and plans to ensure delivery of high-quality services.
  • Work on day-to-day eCommerce Reporting and System Routines
  • Manage Alerts and Issues within eCommerce and delegate to the vendor when required
  • Make simple UX changes to support daily business needs
  • Oversee the SFCC application and conduct user training
  • Maintain a high-level of understanding of SFCC, WooCommerce, WPEngine and 3rd party integrations
  • Understand iOS, Android and Browser support
  • Help business unit digital marketing and solution architects scope the project and plan deliveries
  • Schedule and assign resources for tasks together with management and other project managers.
  • Handle all ongoing communication between Business Units, IT Program Management and development
  • Develop and deliver status reports and other project deliverables
  • Plan and execute Agile/Scrum methodology for software development

Our Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • 3+ years’ experience working on Salesforce Commerce Cloud Projects is a must
  • Salesforce Certification preferred
  • 5+ years managing IT projects dealing with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft, Adobe, Jira, and other application skills
  • Detail oriented with problem solving skills
  • Project Management Certification preferred, but not required
  • Flexible / willing to work across Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to occasionally lift 15 pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to commute to the Stamford, CT office on a regular basis (currently we are in a hybrid model of 50% in office).  
  • Covid-19 vaccination required.
