Position Summary:
The Director, Enterprise Analytics partners with our Finance, Operations and Executive Leadership teams to drive strategic decision-making. This role will lead the development of enterprise-level reporting and analytics, guide financial planning, and lead ad hoc strategy projects based on business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytics skillset who is comfortable leading cross-functional analytics to solve business problems.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Reporting and Analytics Delivery
- Develop and own centralized KPIs tracking across business functions, including automating and scorecarding.
- Partner with Finance, IT, and Data teams to ensure analytics outputs are connected, trusted, and actionable.
- Deliver executive-level dashboards and reports that provide visibility into business and financial performance.
Advanced Analytics and Insights
- Lead complex analytical projects across Commercial, Operations and Finance areas (e.g., pricing sensitivity, promotional lift and SKU profitability analysis).
- Translate data into actionable insights and clear recommendations to inform strategic decisions-making across the organization.
- Develop and deliver executive‑ready narratives and recommendations for priority initiatives.
- Ensure consistency in analytical rigor, storytelling, and decision framing.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Integrate insights across Commercial and Operations domains to highlight enterprise‑level drivers, risks, and tradeoffs.
- Collaborate with FP&A to provide analytical support for financial planning cycles, variance analysis, and performance tracking.
Team Development & Management
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing analytics team with diverse skillsets (commercial and operations).
- Provide hands‑on guidance on analytical rigor, problem structuring, and insight communication
- Establish best practices for analytical methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Foster a culture of curiosity and analytical excellence within the team.
Qualifications/skills:
- 10+ years in analytics, commercial finance, insights, consulting, or data science roles (CPG preferred)
- Expert in financial analytics: P&L interpretation, forecasting, budget tracking, margin drivers, and pricing/promo analytics.
- Exceptional ability to turn complex data into compelling business insights for senior audiences.
- Experience managing analysts and leading cross-functional initiatives.
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on analytical capabilities (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Comfortable with building self-serve dashboards and reporting packages
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required (Analytics, Statistics, CS, Engineering, Economics, or similar).
- Advanced degree a plus.

- Team-oriented collaborator; effective in a hub-and-spoke model with offshore resources.
Environmental Factors:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
- This role requires on-site presence in our Stamford CT location.
