Position Summary:
The Manager, Global E-Commerce Finance, will work closely with and support the E-commerce Finance Director in driving the financial performance and strategic direction of Conair’s global e-commerce business, with specific focus on Amazon and direct to consumer platforms. This role combines financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnership with cross-functional teams to optimize profitability and contribute to the company’s growth in the digital marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
• Assist the Finance Director in developing and maintaining financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning for the global e-commerce business.
• Provide detailed variance analyses and performance reports to the Finance Director to inform strategic decisions.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial presentations for senior leadership.
2. Strategic Business Support:
• Partner with the Finance Director and cross-functional teams, including e-commerce leadership, marketing, and sales, to evaluate initiatives such as promotions, pricing strategies, and new market opportunities.
• Conduct scenario analysis and ROI evaluations to provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with divisional finance teams to align financial strategies with global objectives.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the e-commerce business, including sales trends, investment ROIs, and profitability metrics.
• Develop dashboards and streamlined reporting to enhance visibility into financial and operational performance
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or e-commerce finance, preferably in a global organization.
• Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting skills.
• Experience in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools
• Advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Environmental Factors:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (if needed).
- We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 75% of time.
