The Show Event Coordinator will support and coordinate all phases of operations, planning and execution for trade shows.


Barber & BaBylissPro 

  • Assist Show Manager and PRO Education Manager with virtual zoom classes including sending out platform links to team and stylists, sending registration link to partner on event and registration reports post events.
  • Manage spreadsheets with all virtual education/stylists with fees, as directed from Show Manager & PRO Education Manager
  • Assist with in-store events with sales reps, processing contracts. 
  • Coordinate hotel arrangements for in-store events
  • Communicate to barbers and stylists with travel agent to secure their flight arrangements
  • Assist with all education as requested from sales and associations
  • Assist with processing expense reports for barbers and pro stylists

 Corporate Shows & Regional Events:

  • Work with Show Manager on hotel room blocks, staff attending events
  • Handle/Order F&B for show booth, applicable for Corporate events
  • Secure training rooms, if applicable, for Corporate events
  • Secure model casting room – send details to Education Manager, for Corporate events
  • Assist Show Manager on team communications regarding show assets
  • Assist Show Manager on team communications regarding show sponsorships and education
  • Secure Certificates of Insurance for all shows
  • Order Team Show Badges/Wristbands 
  • Communicate to Barbers and Pro Stylist booking airline tickets with corporate travel agent
  • Work with Barber and Pro teams on Show Inventory: send out communication regarding timeline due for shows (they order their show inventory)
  • Assist Show Manager gathering show information for Show Team Letter. 
  • Assist Show Manager on show shipments from office to shows.
  • Pack model wardrobe, film, camera, waiver release forms, and all necessary support materials for show. (Corporate Events)
  • Manage all show office supplies (Corporate Events)
  • Oversee all shipments of trade show supplies, office supplies and materials for shows.
  • Pack pallets, arranging shipping details with team, shipping labels


  • Maintain and update Show Event Calendar
  • Create detailed accounting of costs for each event
  • Travel to events, as required
  • Assist on-site with booth setup, model prep room, on-site catering, tear down, manifest of outbound shipments
  • Special projects on a ‘per request’ basis


  • 4 year college degree
  • 1-2 years experience in event coordination
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be detail oriented and deadline driven. 
  • Strong excel skills

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically for business 30-40% 
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the Stamford office 50% of time.
